Kelly Jean Kidd, 55, of Springfield, passed away at 7:03 a.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center.
Kelly was born on December 26, 1960 in Springfield, the daughter of John "Jack" Lee and Frances Jean Pickett Hayes. She married Perry L. Kidd on September 2, 1983 at Farmingdale Presbyterian Church.
Kelly was a graduate of Pleasant Plains High School. She was employed for several years by Lewis Memorial Christian Village and later worked for Memorial Medical Center, starting as a CNA and later becoming a Unit Clerk. She went on to work at Addus Healthcare. Kelly liked bears, dogs, animals, strawberry flavored Breyer's ice cream, and collecting home interior products. She was a fan of the Chicago Bulls and the St. Louis Cardinals.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 33 years, Perry Kidd ; one son, John ; one grandchild, four siblings, Max and Kris , Kolleen and Kim, one aunt, several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and three dogs, Lady, Molly, and Ella.
Burial will follow at Farmingdale Cemetery.
