LYNN - Miss L .Frances Ryan, 91, of Lynnfield Street, died Monday in Shaughnessy-Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital,
Salem, after a brief illness. A lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Loretta (Collins)
Ryan and was a graduate of St. Mary's High. She was a clerk for the Social Security Administration for 50 years,
retiring in 1971. Miss Ryan leaves two nieces and a nephew. She was sister of the late John "Blondie" Ryan, who
played for the old New York Giants professional baseball team.
The funeral will be Thursday at 8 a.m. from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., followed by a Mass at 9 at
Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
