Leroy Cree, 82, of Washington, R.D. 4, died at 11 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 1971, at his home.
He was born November 8, 1888, at Khedive, a son of the late Samuel and Arabelle Cree.
He was married November 29, 1911 to the former Hazel Rush, who died May 4, 1968.
Mr. Cree was a resident of Jefferson for many years where he owned and operated a service station. He was also a retired carpenter.
Surviving are three daughters: Esther, wife of Earl Berry of Pittsburgh; Isabelle, wife of Andy Sabo, of Jefferson, and Doris, wife of James Courson, of Washington, R.D. 4; one son, Ewing (Bud) Cree, of Columbia Station, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Scott, of Waynesburg, R.D. 4, and Merle (Osie) Cutshall, of Meadville; four brothers: Harry A. Cree, of Waynesburg; Ralph Cree, of Jefferson; Hugh Cree, of Meadville, Edwin Cree, of Guy Mills, Pa.
Two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Scott and Emma Cree; three sisters and one brother are deceased.
