William Newton Christopher, aged 85 years, died at his home in Khedive, Friday, August 6, 1937, at 7:30 a.m. after an illness of several months.
He was a life-long resident of the Khedive district.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Anna Cummins, and the following children: Mrs. Irwin Wade of Carmichaels; Jane Winfield Christopher, of Edenborn, and William G. Christopher, of Rices Landing. Thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive along with one brother, George Christopher, of Khedive, and one sister, Mrs. William Grooms.
