Samuel is the son of Samuel and Mary Caniglia

Met his future wife Felicia Lantieri at Marina Jr. High. Sam was a graduate of Wash High School, City College and USF.

He served in the Korean War
Sam and Felicia married on June 23-1956.

Sam was a lifelong 49er fan and original member of the "Ugly American Tailgating Club".

He was a contractor/developer and his work can be seen all over the No. CA and NV area.

In 2000 he married Phebe.
