Allan E. Haseltine Obituary
Mazomanie Sickle

The sudden and sorrowful death of Allan E. Haseltine at his home in this village on Saturday last from apoplexy, was a terrible blow to the family and a great shock to the entire community. He had been feeling unwell for a few days but nothing serious was apprehended. His death is another startling illustration of the uncertainty of life.
The deceased was fifty years of age and leaves a wife and four children to mourn his untimely death, together with a wide circle of friends. The funeral services took place at the residence on Monday afternoon at one o’clock and was largely attended, Rev. W. F. Emery, officiating. The AOUW Lodge, of which order the deceased was a member, attended as a body.
The warm sympathy of the community is extended to the sorrowing family in this their hour of affliction.
