Mrs. Afra D. Strange, 72, Loogootee Rt. 4, died at her residence at 2:50 p.m. March 7. Born on Daviess County August 20, 1901, she was the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Walker) Dunn. She was married to Ernest Strange in April 1950 and he survives. Mrs. Strange was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Whitfield. Surviving in addition to her husband are four sisters, Miss Edna Dunn, Loogootee Rt. 2; Mrs. Buford (Mary) Strange, Loogootee Rt. 2; Mrs. Chester (Delphia) Spoonmore, Brownsburg, Indiana and Mrs. Norbert (Cleo) Strange, Brazil, and three brothers, Alvin Dunn, and Bernard Dunn both of Loogootee Rt. 2, and Everett of Ypsilanti, Michigan. Four brothers and sisters preceded her in death. The funeral was at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Whitfield at 10 a.m. March 11 with burial in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the R. G. Titzer Funeral Home, Loogootee.
