Kenneth joined the United States Army Air Corps in April 1942, and served with the 74th Troop Carrier Squadron 434th Troop at Normandy, Northern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe.
He was awarded the Distinguished Unit Badge. He was discharged December 17, 1945.
Kenneth was employed by Johnson Flying Service at Missoula until he joined Frontier Airlines as a Denver based pilot in 1951. He transferred to Billings in 1951 as a Pilot Captain.
He died in the crash of his DC3 plane about two miles northwest of the airport at Miles City, Montana.
