Clarence William “C.W.” Eastabrooks, Jr., 73, of Richmond, MO died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO. C.W. was born on October 3, 1942 in Lexington, MO to Clarence William “Pat” and Edna Belle (Gray) Eastabrooks, Sr. He married Linda M. O’Dell of Richmond on March 21, 1975. She survives of the home. Additioanl survivors include; five sons and one daughter-in-law, Royce Eastabrooks of Kansas City, MO, Chad Eastabrooks of Richmond, David Yates of Richmond, Robert Yates of Surprise, AZ and Brian and Cinda Eastabrooks of Odessa, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie and George Nelson of Excelsior Springs, MO; 13 grandchildren; and one father-in-law, Arbie O’Dell of Richmond. In addition to his parents, C.W. was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Rennick. C.W. was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Maintenance Supervisor for Ford Motor Company for 28 years before retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Lexington Lodge #149 A.F. & A.M and DeMolay Chapter #10. He was a member of the Richmond V.F.W. Post #4398. He was also Past Worthy Patron of O.E.S. Chapter #255. C.W. was a member of the Lexington First Baptist Church. He lived in Richmond most of his life. C. W. helped coach Little League Baseball. He had served on the Richmond School Board. He was a member of the All Sports Club. He was a member and past president of the Ray County Karters. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lexington Lodge #149 A.F. & A.M. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a masonic service at 10:45 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
