Francis Enlow Fletcher, 83, of 2700 West Chestnut Street, was dead on arrival at 4:10 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 1974, at Washington Hospital.
Born July 18, 1890, at Rutan, Greene County, he was the son of John W. and Jennie Clutter Fletcher, and was married June 2, 1915, to the late former Nettie McNeely, who died July 14, 1965.
Mr. Fletcher was a retired highway construction worker, and lived most of his life in the Graysville community. The past few years, however, were spent with his daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Whipkey, Washington.
He was a member of the Bates Fork Baptist Church, Sycamore.
Surviving in addition to his daughter are eight grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Mrs. Ed (Olive) Wiseman, Rutan.
A son, Harold, is deceased.
