Butch served in the US Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Nancy M Harju on April 26, 1975 in Orr MN. Butch loved hunting, fishing and classic cars.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Jeffrey (Heather) Crego and Jason (Trish) Crego, Teresa Crego, and Cristopher Crego; one granddaughter, Morgan Leigh Crego; one brother, Mike Crego; four sisters, Francine (Mike) Friend, Rene (Ernest) Barto, Pamela Henkel, and Roxanne Crego; a favorite uncle, Jim "Sparky" (Carol) Crego; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents.
