Funeral services for Ernestine "Rustie" Grant Teal, age 64 of Many, LA, will be held at 10 AM Monday, October 3, 2016 from the sanctuary of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA. Interment will follow at Little Star Cemetery, Grayson, LA. Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Riser Funeral Home, Columbia from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Mrs. Teal was born on April 20, 1952 in Columbia, LA to the union of her parents; Ausborn Randolph Grant, II and Ernestine Hazel Wilkes Grant and passed from this life on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at LA Extended Care Hospital in Natchitoches, LA.
Ernestine worked as a LPN and a notary. She enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, listening to country music and cooking. Ernestine was extremely talented with writing songs, poems, singing and playing the guitar.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cliff Teal; daughter, Toshi Harrison and brother, James Earl Grant.
