Death of Thomas Armstrong
After a long and painful illness Thomas Armstrong died Tuesday about six o'clock at his late residence on Vine street. He was born in Iowa, 56 years ago, coming here about 18 years ago. He leaves a boy, Martin, aged 8 years. A brother, Chris Kroutz, of Marvin, Ia., has been with him the past few days. The funeral will take place Wednesday from the house at half past eight. Rev. Fowler officiating, interment in the Sycamore Springs cemetery.
