Laurena Sophia (Holle) Niemann, 86, Beatrice, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the Beatrice Community Hospital. She was born January 31, 1919 near Bremen, Kansas. She married Henry F.W. Niemann on November 19, 1944 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bremen, KS. They lived on a farm near Bremen, Kansas until 1973 when they moved to Beatrice. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Beatrice. She enjoyed sewing, mending, cooking, baking and flowers.

Funeral: 10:30 A.M., Monday October 17, 2005 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Beatrice. Pastor Douglas Irmer and Pastor Timothy Wagner, officiating. Family prayer service 10:15 a.m. at the church. Burial: Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Visitation: Harman-Wright Mortuary, Beatrice, Saturday from 5 pm to 9 pm, Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. then one hour before services on Monday. The family will greet friends at the Mortuary Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Memorial established to St. Paul Lutheran Church with Erich Licht and Ivan Stohs in charge.
