Rev. Mary Wilhelmina "Mina" (Lawrence) Mann was the daughter of Rev. William Abram and Alpha Hannah (Sunderlin) Lawrence. She was the wife of Rev. John A. Mann. They were married in 1917. As a young girl she accompanied her father, the Rev. Wm A. Lawrence, as a circuit rider and evangelist of the Wesleyan Methodist church, playing the organ, singing and assisting even in the preaching of the Gospel. While still in her teens she felt called of God into the active ministry and from that time on led a very active life in public work as pastor, evangelist and pastor's wife and assistant. She served as a valuable assistant in all her husband's charges. She served the Dickersonville Church alone for two years - 1943 and 1944. She and Rev. Mann had three children: Arthur, Margarete and Reginald W. Reginald W. was killed in action on August 25, 1944 during World War II.
