Born June 7, 1886, in Muscatine, he was the son of David W. Allman and Martha Chapman Allman. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and past master of the Wabanshia Lodge in Chicago, and a member of the Typographical Union in Chicago and the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret B. Allman, a daughter, Mrs. Homer Addison of Osyka, Miss., a granddaughter, two step-granddaughters and four great-great-grandchildren.
He is survived by one brother Paul Allman of Sedona, Ariz. and five sisters, Mrs. Charley Boxx, Mrs. Edna Murray, Mrs. Paul Brownlee, Mrs. Oscar Sapp and Mrs. Sam Reed, all of Eldon.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ross Allman.
The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. William Lone. Burial will be in the Eldon Cemetery.
