Mrs.Frances M. Summers, wife of Police Officer Edwin C. Summers, passed away last night at her late home, 471 Moss avenue. Mrs. Summers leaves many sorrowing friends to mourn her loss. Death was not unexpected, as she has been confined to her bed for fourteen months. She was known by all for her kindness and charitable disposition. She belonged to the Catholic Ladies' Aid Society and Lyon Relief Corps, and when able was an active member in relief work.
Mr. and Mrs. Summers were married in Oakland February 19, 1906. Mrs. Summers leaves one daughter, Mrs. Frederick W. Dulfee of Sausalito.by her former husband, F.M. Cheraliss. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. 87 years ago. The remains will be taken from her late home, 471 Moss street, where services will be held at 2 p,m, tomorrow, followed by interment at St. Mary's Church.
