He worked hard to insure no Veteran was forgotten, he helped with Wartime Medals, getting grave markers for forgotten Veterans. He was one of the founders of the "Yakama Warriors Association", a life member of the VFW and DAV. His greatest honor was being given his Yakama Native name "Mi ma How il ish" with thanks to the late Warrior Louie Cloud and his wife as well as fellow tribal members.
He defended this country for 30 years of his life.....Anyone who knew him would tell you he was a Mountain of a man, who embodied "The Warrior Spirit".... His like will not walk this way again....
