Harold H. “Pete” Brown
Graveside service for Harold H. “Pete” Brown will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. He died Saturday in a Vancouver hospital at age 70.

Mr. Brown was born in Farnam, Neb., and had lived in Vancouver since 1943. He was the retired owner and manager of Brown Enterprises of Vancouver. Mr. Brown was also a past furniture department manager for Montgomery Ward & Co. of Vancouver. He word in the Vancouver shipyards during World War II. Mr. Brown was a member of Elks Lodge 823 of Vancouver.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn of Vancouver; son, Kent of Vancouver; brother Robert of Barstow, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
