Charles was the oldest of seven children born to John Tibbet and Rachel Lavina (Parker) Moose. He married Lenora Frendlers 'Nora' Caudle in 1893 and they were the parents of three children: Pearl M., Ethel Rae and Oscar.

Deceased Was Fifty Years of Age and
Lived at Fishers Station

Charles Moose died at the Central Insane Hospital at Indianapolis, Thursday, at the age of fifty. Funeral Saturday and interment in Delaware township.
The deceased had been at Indianapolis for treatment since Last August. For several weeks prior to that time he was in the local hospital. At one time his condition was so favorable that he was dismissed and permitted to return home but his mental trouble developed again in a more acute form and he was eventually sent away.
He lived at Fishers Station most of his life and is survived by a widow and three children, Mrs. Pearl Irvin, of Indianapolis; and Oscar Moose and Mrs. Ethel Suitor, both of whom reside in the south part of the county.
