She married Thomas J. Flannigan Jr. in Frederick, MD on June 1, 1957. Thomas was in the Navy and they resided in many places until he retired in 1974 in Fountain, CO.
She was survived by her five children, seven grandchildren, a great grandson, three sisters and one brother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Andrew and sister Margaret.
