Shirley M. Walters, 87, passed away November 9, 2016 at the Luther Home in Marinette, WI where she was a resident. She was born July 15, 1929, daughter of the late Howard F. and Alma (Feske) Harper.

Shirley graduated from Peshtigo High School in May 1947.

On October 29, 1949, she married Robert A. Walters at Zion Lutheran Church and the couple celebrated 27 years of marriage before Bob passed away on February 20, 1976.

In 1977, Shirley went to work at Scott Paper at the age of 48 and retired from there September 1, 1992 at age 63. She was an avid Packer fan, bingo player, and loved a good game of cards.

Shirley is survived by two daughters: Faye (Barry) Godshaw of Brown Deer, WI and Tamny (fiancé Mark) Walters of Clarksville, Tenn.;
five sons: Steven (Kim); Bradley; Jamie; Daniel, all of Peshtigo, WI and Randy (Sue) of Green Bay, WI;
seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and her husband Bob, Shirley was preceded in death by three sisters: Cecil Anderson, Fern Race, Naomi Archambault; four brothers: Al, Glen, Robert and Howard.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 13 at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Dembinski officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
