Born December 17, 1925, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Ervin George and Goldie Marie Halfley Remaly. On May 4, 1941, she married Clinton Eugene "Gene" Burrell in Kahoka, MO.
Helen worked for Sylvania, Champion, IAAP, and for Danville Food Mart.
Helen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as well as the Eastern Star. She also spent her time raising chickens. Her and Gene loved to square-dance. Helen loved to play organ, crochet and sew, but most importantly she loved caring for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sons, Edward and Ray Burrell
