Farley, Timothy 74 June 18, 1942 Oct. 15, 2016 Timothy "Tim" Farley died peacefully at Providence Willamette Falls Hospital on Oct. 15, 2016 in Oregon City, at the age of 74. Tim is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. He was preceded in death by his brother Dick. Tim was born on June 18 1942 in Portland, Ore. Tim graduated from Jefferson High School in 1960. He married his high school sweetheart in 1962. After serving three years in the Army, Tim trained in mechanics at OIT, Klamath Falls and after graduating began work as a Lincoln mechanic for Dick Niles Ford. Moving to sales, Tim then began work as a successful representative for Ingersoll Rand and Snap On Tools. At heart he was an entrepreneur. Tim started his own franchise with Cornwell tools and eventually started and operated Farley Readerboards with his wife. It was a successful sign company serving the Portland area. Tim's first love was family, his second was endurance running. He competed in the nations most challenging races among them the Western States 100 and Leadville 100. An avid pilot, he enjoyed flying his beloved plane "The Hornet". Services are scheduled for Tim 11a.m. Nov 29, 2016 at Willamette National Cemetery.
