Anne Estella Barnhart, 75, of 85 Southwest Street, Waynesburg, died Friday, July 8, 1988, at the Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, following a long illness.
Born August 19, 1912, in Carmichaels, she was a daughter of John and Phoebe Burns Clark.
She was married to Arol B. Belford, who died November 15, 1946. She later married Edward Barnhart, who died November 2, 1967.
Mrs. Barnhart was well known in the Waynesburg area for her volunteer work. She worked with Washington/Greene County Community Action Corp. and assisted many families who had been victimized by fire in obtaining furniture and household items.
Mrs. Barnhart lived in Waynesburg most of her life.
For the past five years, she had been a patient at the Curry Memorial Home in Waynesburg.
She was a member of the Rollng Meadows Church of God of Waynesburg.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. H. Donovan (Linda) Morris of Waynesburg R.D. 1 and Mrs. Henry (Kathy) Kopka of Nanty Glo; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Hester Broderick of Carmichaels, Alice C. Swift of Waynesburg, Betty C. O'Brochta of Jefferson and Helen Nesbitt of Pittsburgh, and three brothers, Terry Clark, William Clark and Andrew Clark.
Deceased are two daughters, Eloise Fluharty and Diana Belford; two infant sons; one sister, Dora Clark, and one brother, Russell Clark.
