Woodrow Wilson Stokley (1913-1970) is the birth son of John Thomas Stokley (1849-1920) and Catherine "Katie" Brown Stokley (1879-1955). Thomas Samuel Young (1889-1967) and Ada Catherine "Addie" Neely Young (1892-1988) raised him as their son, and he became Woodrow Wilson Stokley Young .

Joyce Edeline Russ Perdue (1932-2000) is the birth daughter of Elizabeth Jane Blizzard Russ (1895-1933) and John Allen Russ (1892-1968), the half brother of Thomas Samuel Young. Joyce's birth mother died shortly after her birth. Thomas Samuel Young (1889-1967) and Ada Catherine "Addie" Neely Young (1892-1988) raised their niece as their daughter, and she became Joyce Ann Russ Young Perdue who married Desmont Mevins Perdue (1919-1993).
