Margaret L. Stansel passed away December 26, 2016 in Tomball, Texas at the age of 94. She was born January 28, 1922 in Hutchinson, Kansas to George C. and Ina Mae Cornwell. She was married to Robert Stansel on September 19, 1943 in Coeur d’alene, Idaho. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Robert, sister, Ella Mae Bailey, and a brother, George Cornwell.

She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Link and husband, Greg of Magnolia, TX; two granddaughters, Robyn Dunham and husband Max of Dallas, TX, and Darci Kisel and husband Jake of Sugar Land, TX; four great grandchildren, Tucker and Tibor Kisel; and Mace and Peri Dunham.

Margaret attended schools in Hutchinson, Kansas, and was a member of the Hutchinson Water Sports Club. She loved to fish and enjoyed all outdoor activities.

A memorial service will be held in Magnolia, TX with interment in Fairlawn Cemetery in Hutchinson, Kansas at a later date. Memorials may be given to your local ASPCA.
