The funeral of Waldo Burgess will be held at the family home on West Eighth avnue[sic], Friday afternoon at one o'clock, the Rev. Hanscom officiating. Burial will be made in Morrison cemetery, near Lafayette.

Waldo Burgess Dies of Pneumonia
Waldo Burgess died Tuesday afternoon of influenza and pneumonia, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer A. Burgess, at 395 Eighth avenue, following a brief illness. He was 27 years of age and has been employed at the Milwaukee roadhouse. The family moved to the city from Palo and have lived here about a year. Besides the parents, four sisters and eight brothers survive, two of these being in the army. The funeral services, which will be private, will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with the Rev. A.H. Hanscom officiating, and interment will be in Morrison cemetery.
