He reenlisted as a Private in Battery D 204th Regiment 5th Pa. Heavy Artillery on Aug. 10, 1864 in Pittsburgh, Pa. by Capt. McGrew. Mustered in Sept. 16, 1864 in Pittsburgh, Pa by Lt. Williams for 1 year. Mustered out June 30, 1864 with battery. Served Sept. 16, 1864 - June 30, 1865 - 9 month 14 days.
