Albany - Mary Elizabeth Pemberton, 75, died Sunday, August 27, 1989.

She was born in Dallas, Oregon and attended the University of Oregon graduating with a degree in fine arts. She worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles for several years. She married Wilfred Rex Pemberton, December 3, 1945, in Salem, Oregon. They lived in Sweet Home, Oregon until 1963 when they moved to Dallas, Oregon. She was a member of the Springhill Country Club. Her husband died in 1987.

Survivors include her son, Tom; brother, Tom Starbuck; sister, Myra Allgood.

At the request of the deceased no service will be held. Arraignment are by AAsum Mortuary. Contributions may be made to Benton County Hospice.
