Mr. Emil Jacob Adams, age 71, of Pentwater, passed away December 30, 2016 at home. He was born June 12, 1945, in Hart to Frank and Lorraine (Lauber) Adams, Sr. He was employed as a trucker, heavy equipment operator, excavator, and also had farmed. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Emil was a man of all trades, lending a hand to anyone who needed help. Being a good hearted individual, he orchestrated many pig roasts for friends and celebrations around the community. He also loved and cared for animals.

Emil is survived by his sisters, Liz Carroll of Pentwater, Lorraine Blamer of Scottville, Mary Gustafson of Scottville and Bev (Allan) Smalley of Pentwater; two brothers, Louie (Jessica) Adams of Pentwater and Ken (Kristy) Adams of Pentwater; several nieces and nephews; numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Isobel Adams, brothers, Robert Adams, Jesse Adams, John Adams, and Frank Adams.

The Celebration of Live for Emil will be held this summer in 2017. The date, time and place will be announced later
