Professional Football Player. For five seasons (1966 to 1970), he played at the running back position in the National Football League with the Washington Redskins and New Orleans Saints. Born George Thomas Barrington, he attended Lima High School in Ohio, where he excelled as a four-sport athlete in football, basketball, baseball and track. He played collegiate football at Ohio State University and achieved All-American honors. Selected by the Redskins during the 3rd round of the 1966 NFL Draft, he totaled 47 career regular season games. He held the distinction as being a member of the New Orleans Saints during their inaugural season in 1967. After retiring from football, he owned and operated a sales and consulting company. He died of complications from non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
