Rudolph V. Konetchny, 65, of 59 East Shore Drive, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 1982 in Tompkins Community Hospital.
Mr. Konetchny, son of the late Susan and Joseph Kavarich Konetchny, was a foreman at the Ithaca Gun Co. for many years until his retirement. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a communicant and usher at All Saints Church, Lansing.
Surviving are his wife, Agnes Konetchny of South Lansing; three daughters, Patricia Konetchny of Ithaca, Christine Smith of Ithaca and Ann Elliott of Lansing; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Lacko of South Lansing, Mrs. Elizabeth Wagner of South Lansing, and Mrs. Rose Millick of South Lansing; four grand'children, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at All Saints Church, Lansing, at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev Richard Stanton will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m today.
