Gerald E. "Jerry" Miller, 92, of Midway, died peacefully Friday, December 30, 2016, in his home.
He was born July 30, 1924, in Muse, a son of Clarence Miller and Benjamina Ackerman McCabe.
Mr. Miller was a member of Center United Presbyterian Church, Midway, where he served as an elder, trustee, Sunday school teacher and member of the choir.
He was also a member of Richard Vaux Lodge 454, F&AM, in Burgettstown for more than 50 years.
In 1983, Mr. Miller retired from Weirton (W.Va.) Steel, where he was a bricklayer for 36 years.
He loved playing bingo and golf. He had two holes-in-one, of which he was very proud.
On January 31, 1947, he married Vera Felton, who survives.

Deceased are a sister, Louise Gallo Segui; a brother, Wells Miller; a niece; and three nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057. Services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, in Center United Presbyterian Church, Midway. Interment will be private. Richard Vaux Lodge 454, F&AM, Burgettstown, will hold Masonic services at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Center United Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 563, Midway, PA 15060.
