John Hoffman was born on May Day, May 1, 1867 in Wilder, Campbell County, Kentucky, the fourth of eight children of Leonhardt Hoffmann and Maria Ann Schneider Hoffmann. On February 12, 1901 he married Anna Kordenbrock Hoffman in Kenton County, Kentucky, and they had eight children: Henrietta Hoffman, Agnes Hoffman Schmitt, Benjamin John Hoffman, Edward Henry Hoffman, Harry George Hoffman, Leonard J. Hoffman, Margaret Hoffman, and Marie Anna Hoffman.
John died three years after his wife at age 89 on November 11, 1956 in Kenton County. He is buried near his wife at Mother of God Cemetery in Kenton County. His heritage was German. I hope someone will add John's photo to this site.
