DEGRAZIA, Lucia a Tucson native born May 15, 1938 passed away on January 12, 2017 in San Diego, CA at the age of 78 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Ted DeGrazia and Alexandra Diamos Kerson and grandson, Edward Ownbey. She graduated from Tucson High School in 1956, attended the University of Arizona and later Pima Medical Institute. She retired in 2012 from Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital where she worked as a PBX phone operator for 14 years. Prior to that she worked many years at a medical laboratory and before that a housewife and mother raising her three daughters. She absolutely adored her parents and her children. Our hearts will be with her forever. She is survived by her daughters, Angela Hooey (Al) of San Diego, CA, Christine Garva (Rick) of San Diego, CA and Cindy Bustamante of Tucson, AZ; sister, Kathie Bushroe (Jim) of Tucson, AZ; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Monday, January 30, 2017, 9:00 a.m. at Saint Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
