She was the daughter of Solomon P Davis (1842-1923) and Louisa J (Moore) Davis (1851-1917) of Contra Costa County, California. She was the sister of William Turley Davis (1876-1923). Her father Solomon was the son of Joseph C Davis (1799-1880) and Anna (Turley) Davis(1805-?). She apparently never married and lived with her parents in Contra Costa County, Pachecho area.
