The death occurred on February 25th at Tusket Falls of Mrs. Seddie Brayne at the age of 87. She was the wife of Wentworth Brayne, who predeceased her some years ago. The deceased was the daughter of Jacob and Catherine Wood of Gavelton and lived her entire life at Tusket Falls. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Hobbs of Argyle Head, and Mrs. Walter Nickerson of Oshawa, Ont., also two sons, Clifton Brayne of Tusket Falls, and Willard of Battlecreek, Michigan. There are also eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held from her home and was conducted by Pastor Robert Eames of the Evangel Assembly, Yarmouth. The pallbearers Were: Augustus, Clarence, Harry and Leslie Wood. Interment was in Greenlawn cemetery.
