He drove semi truck for 30 years. He enjoyed antiques, reading, the outdoors, especially his flowers, birds and fruiting trees, but mostly loved his dog, Mickey.
He is survived by five children: Craig (Bernie) Krause of Republic: Brad Krause (Laura Strutz) of Green Bay, WI; Cindy Krause (Bruce Borske) of Amberg, WI; Kevin Krause of Aurora, WI and Diana Krause Bruso (Randy) of Milwaukee, WI;
a favorite niece, Peggy Lawrence of Fort Worth, Tx.;
14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert [10/13/1935-12/29/2004] and a sister, Marian Kinney .
A Memorial Service was held at Athelstane Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, Jan. 25th at 11 a.m.
