George graduated from Marinette Catholic Central in 1976. He had worked for American Excelsior for more than forty years, starting in Marinette and transferring to Rice Lake. He enjoyed going to baseball games to root for the teams and was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan; fulfilling a dream of seeing them win the World Series this year. He also loved going fishing and watching football, especially the Chicago Bears.
George is survived by four brothers: Duane (Marlene) Felch of Robertsdale, Ala.; John Felch, Richard Felch, and Donald (Judy) Felch, all of Marinette, WI;
six sisters: Shirley Felch of Marinette, WI; Lois (Fred) Baldwin of Coolidge, Ariz.; Hazel Felch of Menasha, WI; Eunice (Bill) Harris of Kenosha, WI; Linda (George) Zuleger of Neenah, WI and Alice (Chuck) Madsen of New London, WI; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth; sister, Mary Felch; brother-in-law, Fred Baldwin; and nephew, Daniel Baldwin.
A Memorial Service will be held at Thielen Funeral HOme in Marinette on July 8th at 1 pm. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Walsh, WI.
