Alfred C. Lindstrom, Jr., 70, of Marinette, WI passed away Monday morning, February 6, 2017, at the Oscar Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, Mich. He was born October 9, 1946, in Menominee, to Alfred Lindstrom, Sr. and Dorothy {Dupuis} Lindstrom.


Following high school, Alfred briefly worked at Scott Paper Co. before entering the United States Army. Al served his country overseas in the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired from military service as a disable veteran. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Al was also a licensed pilot and enjoyed attending motor cross events.


Alfred is survived by his wife of 35 years, Bea;

four sons: Chad (Michelle) Lindstrom, {Bea's children from previous marriage}~~Tim (Ann) Lindstrom, Gerald (Tammy) Anderson and Stacy (Liesa) Anderson;

and six grandchildren: Hayden, Hannah, Katlyn and Brooke Anderson and Jake and Paige Lindstrom.


Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette on Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Darrel Diers officiating. Military honors will be conducted.
