------------------------------------------------------------

Sarah C Sexton arrived in the port of New York October 1 1904 from Queenstown, Ireland aboard the Campania, having traveled alone.
In 1910 she was living in Chicago with her sister Annie, and Annie's husband Michael J Ryan, and 3 of her brothers. On October 14 1914, in Chicago, she married Michael Edward Morrison. She and Michael, who was a Chicago policeman, had three daughters, Mary Frances, Catherine Anna "Kay" and Colette B.
At sometime in the spring of 1930 Sarah and her three daughters lives were turned upside down.

Her husband of 16 years, 40 year old Michael, had met and fell in love with a pretty 17 year old girl, Clara Emily Green. Michael and Clara took off together and along the way to Toledo, were married by a Justice of the Peace. Sarah spent the next 5 years searching in vain for her husband. Meanwhile, Michael assumed a new identity, Edward O'Neil, and he and Clara began a new life together in Toledo. On February 12, 1932 Michael/Edward and Clara had a son, Edward Patrick O'Neil and life went on until Michael/Edward became ill and died on October 27, 1935. The details of what happened next can be read in the attached newspaper article from The Toledo News-Bee of 24 March 1936.

Sarah never remarried. She died on October 15, 1968 in Northfield, Cook County, Illinois. She was 84 years old.

Clara would marry twice more, and Clara Delaney died in Toledo on October 12, 2004.

Edward Patrick O'Neil died in Florida on March 18, 2005
