Joseph Hoffmann was born August 24, 1881 in Campbell County, Kentucky, the youngest of eight children of Leonhardt Hoffmann and Maria Ann Schneider Hoffmann. On October 21, 1903 he married Julia M. Pulskamp Hoffmann at Saint Peter Catholic Church in Franklin County, Indiana, and they had four children: Joseph G. Hoffmann, Lagora M. Hoffmann, Eugene A. Hoffmann, and Luella Hoffmann. For most of his life Joseph was a farmer in the Johns Hill area of Campbell County.
Sometime before 1930 Joseph died and is probably buried near his parents and wife at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Wilder, Campbell County. His heritage was German. I hope someone will add his photo to this site.
