she was preceded by her husband Eddie Sellers Jr., her son James E. Sellers (Coot), her sisters Dorothy Gattison and Ollie Allen, her brothers James McPhail and John McPhail Jr.
she was born and she passed away in Darlington county, SC. she was educated in the public schools of the area. she lived a long life leaning anf depending on Jesus. she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior as a young lady and joined the New Hopewell Baptist Church. she was a dedicated and faithful servant. she joined the Ushers Ministry and served at the doorpost for fifty plus years. she loved the Lord and it was evident in her speech,behavior, and her attitude. when difficulties were present, she put her situation in the hands of the Lord. she realized that her God was able handle all problems. she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and neighbor. she had great listening skills and was very understanding of different issues in life. she was a hard worker and didn't stop working until she completed the task at hand. she worked on the farm and inside the home. she was a great cook and prepared many tasty meals from scratch. when she wasn't cooking, cleaning, washing clothes, she was taking care of children. she loved her family and devoted her energy to helping make their lives easier. she enjoyed watching plants and animals grow. her garden brought much pleasure and allowed her to share her produce. when she became disabled, family and friends came to her rescue. because she was kind, many remembered and came to her aid. because she loved she was loved.
