Franklin D. Casey, 83, passed away on Sunday February 19, 2017 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He attended Springdale Methodist Church. He was a member of Clark Lodge #40, American Legion Post #35, and The Masonic Temple in Indianapolis. He enjoyed gardening, playing with his grandson Noah, and listening to Bluegrass music. He was retired from I.C.I. America Millwright. He served in the U.S. Army and reserves.
He is survived by his wife Lou Ellen Casey; his daughter Andrea Casey and her fiancé Mike Grose; his grandson Noah Grose; his sisters Harriett Myers and Helen Spalding.
He is preceded in death by his parents Seymour Casey and Anna Casey; his brothers Melvin, Irvin, Amos, Leonard, Charles, and Willard; his sister Virginia Linn.
Funeral service will be held Thursday February 23, 2017 at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
