She was born January 20, 1931 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Vern M. and Nida B. Hanson Page. She lived in McCune for most of her life, moving to Grove, Oklahoma with her husband in 1994.
She married Lyle Parsons on March 4, 1950 in McCune, KS and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2011.
Mrs. Parsons was a homemaker for most of her life.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Grove, Oklahoma and the Eta Phi Sorority in McCune.
Survivors include four sons Roger Lyle Parsons and wife Jeanette of Lee's Summit, MO, Michael Dean Parsons and wife Terri of McCune, Steven Dale Parsons and wife Julie of Basehor, KS and Dennis Jay Parsons of Girard, KS, two brothers Frank Page and wife Marcel of Frontenac and Tom Page of Bella Vista, Arkansas, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway in Pittsburg, with the Rev. Jim Sukraw, officiating. Pallbearers will be Brett Parsons, Michael Parsons, Cody Parsons, Michael Shortino, Josh Ova, Ryan Cherepkai and Kellen Conrad. Burial will be in the McCune Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Friends may call after 2 pm Friday at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg.
