Walter E. Mittelstaedt, 77, of Copley, passed away Oct. 13, 1994.
Mr. Mittelstaedt was a lifelong area resident, retiring in 1979 from the Akron Standard Mold Co. with 44 years of service. He was also a veteran of the Army Engineer Corps, serving during World War II. He was a member of the Fairlawn Lutheran Church.
Mr. Mittelstaedt is survived by wife of 43 years, Katherine; daughters, Linda at home, Susan of Arlington, Texas; sister, Helen Holmes of Arkon.
Services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at Fairlawn Lutheran Church, 3415 W. Market St., Akron, with Pastor Charles D. Lentner officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the church one hour before the service. (The Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 867-4141.)
