GALVESTON Craige Lee Womble age 48 of Galveston died Monday March 6, 2017 at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston. Funeral services are 10:00 am Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston, Reverend Alan Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.

Born February 10, 1969 in Galveston to Kenneth Norman Womble and Evelyn Jane Jalufka Womble, Lee was a 1987 graduate of Ball High School.

He went on to San Jacinto College where he excelled in Computer Programming using those skills at UTMB as a Computer Analyst. He enjoyed working on computers even in his spare time. He was an avid sportsman who loved to fish, play and watch baseball and coach Pony Colt baseball. He enjoyed working in his garden and selling on Ebay. He was of the Catholic faith.

Preceded in death by his parents and a step sister, Sherry S and an aunt Carolyn Devoll survivors include, sister, Tammy Montalbano and husband Louis; step brother, Kenneth Womble, Jr.; uncle, Hershell Devoll; aunt, Anne Stone; cousins, Eric Stone, Linda Stone, Kenneth Stone and wife Sarah, Stephen Stone and wife Diane, Michele Cloer and husband Bobby, Jennifer Manatt and husband JR and Holly Jalufka; and many friends.
