Okle O. Kiger, 90, of Warren, Ohio, formerly of Greene County, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2002, in Ridge Crest Care Center, Warren, following a month-long illness.

He was born February 11, 1912, in Perry Township, Greene County, a son of Morgan and Anna Newell Kiger.

Mr. Kiger was a resident of Greene County until June 2000, when he moved to Warren.

He was affiliated with Assembly of God Church and worked for several years for Ralph VanDruff at his block factory in Greene County.

On December 28, 1935, he married Ava M. Patton, who died September 1, 1987.

Surviving are a daughter, eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larnie Kiger of Mt. Morris.

Deceased are a son, Hershell Kiger; two sisters, Grethel Wilson and Flora Fox; and five brothers, Jesse, Hansel, Daws, Raymond and Herman Kiger.
