Rock Musician. Known as "The Godfather of Surf Music". A guitarist, he was a member of the Rock and Surf band "The Surfaris", who are widely credited with introducing the Surf Music sound of the 1960s. They will be remembered for their classic musical hit "Wipe Out" (1963), for which became a part of pop culture as it appeared on numerous movie soundtracks since its recording. Formed along with Bob Berryhill, Pat Connolly, Ron Wilson and Jim Pash, their signature hit "Wipe Out" was penned one day late in 1962 and recorded under the Dot label with Fuller providing lead guitar work. The song became a Top Ten hit on the American Billboard Charts, as it achieved a number two placing in 1963.
